Normally Belial's lines to other VS Rising characters feel like he's "playing to their tastes/hounding them into mistakes", whereas Avatar Belial's are where he's lashing out and/or wallowing in his Primal Beast inclination toward destruction. That's been the case for every character, even Lucilius. There's less ulterior motives, ironically.

And then Vane happened! XD Now "regular" Belial is the one saying things like "I was going to fillet and present you to Lancey" (when he's not talking about wanting drachentrout quiche, yay Bistro Feendrache reference), and Avatar Belial is crooning "When will you make love to darkness?" and "I just wanted to see my favorite puppy". So, with the above in mind...either Vane is indeed his favorite puppy, or he's swapped methods just for the Dragon Knights' golden boy? Both?

Or, even better, is Vane officially at Singularity-levels of (to quote VS) "toying with them gives Belial a visceral thrill"? :D (They're also his favorite puppies, after all! /still not over that)
